Patrice Clausse
President & CEO – ACEN International
Patrice Clausse is the chief executive officer of ACEN International. He joined Ayala Corporation in May 2010 as an advisor to the Strategy and Business Development team and became a founding member of the ACEN management in 2011, where he led the Business Development and Operations teams. Currently, he heads ACEN’s international business, with focus on Southeast Asia and Australia.
Patrice is a member of the Board of Directors/Management and Advisory Committee of various ACEN International Projects. Prior to joining Ayala, he was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company in London as well as with Marakon Associates (part of Charles River Associates). Patrice holds an MBA from Harvard Business School as well as master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Manufacturing Engineering from Cambridge University.
Brian Caffyn
Chairman & CEO
UPC Renewables Ltd and UPC Solar & Wind Investments, LLC
Brian is the Chairman of the UPC Renewables Group of Companies and has directed the development of Wind and Solar projects in the US, Canada, Europe, China, Philippines, Australia, India, Vietnam and Indonesia amongst other locations. Brian has over 28 years of experience in leading the UPC Renewables Group’s development of utility scale energy projects (90 projects, 5.5 GW of installed capacity and a development pipeline of over +10GW). Brian was the founder and inaugural Chairman of UPC Wind (subsequently First Wind — acquired by Sun Edison for $2.5bn) and previously Brian personally oversaw the establishment and construction of the largest wind energy company in Italy — Italian Vento Power Corporation. In addition, Brian is also a Founding Partner of UPC Capital Ventures and has invested in a variety of energy technology ventures across the globe. Brian spent the first part of his career in project financing for wind, cogeneration, hydro, solar, geothermal, waste-to-energy, and biomass energy projects with GE Capital, Heller Financial, Inc., and several private companies. Brian received a BA in Finance and Quantitative Methods from Babson College.

Tim Rosenzweig

PivotGen’s co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Rosenzweig brings more than 25 years of financial and executive experience, primarily in the renewable energy sector. Mr. Rosenzweig previously served as co-founder and CFO of FirstWind, a leading wind power developer. He also served as CFO of SolarReserve, a leading global developer of utility-scale solar power projects. Prior to his role with SolarReserve, Tim was the CEO of Goldwind USA. Tim holds a BS in civil engineering from Johns Hopkins and an MBA from Columbia.
Andy Evans
Chief Commercial Officer – PivotGen
PivotGen’s co-founder and Senior Vice President of Business development, Mr. Evans is responsible for project origination and development, product development, and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Evans brings ten years of renewable energy and management experience. He was previously the Director of Commercial Transactions for Goldwind USA, the North American subsidiary of Goldwind Group, the world’s second largest wind turbine manufacturer.
John Wallington (Board Observer)
Managing Partner – UPC Capital Ventures, LLC
John Wallington is the Managing Partner of UPC Capital Ventures, LLC the venture capital arm of the UPC Renewables Group. The firm seeks to invest in seed & early-stage companies, primarily in the Energy, Energy Technology, SaaS, and FinTech sectors. Working alongside the principals of the UPC Renewables Group, this enables the firm to analyze and evaluate both the problems and opportunities in the financing, development, operation and sale of electricity and power generation assets and therefore identify technologies that provide unique and innovative solutions. In addition to this role, John is likewise Chief Operating Officer of UPC Management, LLC managing the finances and accounting for an international business portfolio of renewable energy related companies, property & energy and technology investments, CFO of UPC Solar and a Shareholder in UPC Renewables Asia Pacific Holdings Ltd. John is a Director of the K2 Wind Foundation, a former advisory Board Member of the UBS Sustainable Trends Group, a Board Member of the Colorado Cleantech Industries Association (C.C.I.A) and a Board Director of Premier Energy Holdings, LLC, Plastics for Change Ltd, Tilled, Inc and Mindpass, LLC.
Prior experience includes accounting and finance work with Unilever PLC and Clifford Chance LLP. John received his BA (Hons) degree in Geography from Exeter University (U.K.), is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and currently resides in Boulder, Colorado, USA.
